Brie & Cranberry Baguette Recipe

Sweet delicious brie and cranberry filled crusty baguette with apples.

Try something different in your baguette with this sweet delicious brie and cranberry baguette filled with a spread of cranberry sauce, thick cut slices of brie (the cheese kind), and a few slices of sweet red apple.

The brie and cranberry baguette is an incredibly tasty sandwich filled with a combination of sweet ingredients and the creamy brie for added texture.

Choose a handy baguette for one, or add the ingredients to a long baguette and cut it in to three for the family to enjoy.

INGREDIENTS

1 Baguette
Brie
Cranberry sauce
1 Apple

INSTRUCTIONS

Take your baguette and cut it open down the middle across the side but don't cut it all the way so both sides are still connected

With a butter knife spread a generous amount of cranberry sauce over the bottom piece covering the entire area

Cut thick slices of brie and place directly over the cranberry sauce with the brie slightly overlapping

Take a red sweet apple and cut it in four quarters and remove the core. Cut four apple slices for each baguette

Finally close the baguette and serve. You can cover in saran wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes

Tips & Advice

If apples are not your thing in the baguette you can leave them out altogether. You can use any type of apple but insure they are clean and the core and pips are removed.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with vegetable sticks and a hummus dip. You can also add the brie and cranberry baguette to kids school lunch box for something new and exciting.
